Professionista con una vasta esperienza, Giorgio è un pluripremiato ingegnere architetto multidisciplinare con particolare attenzione su design moderno ma sostenibile. È un cittadino greco, con sede a Dubai, Emirati Arabi Uniti, parla 5 lingue ed è Architetto abilitato del Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) e membro attivo dell'American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Giorgio ha molti anni di esperienza nella realizzazione di progetti di fascia alta, veloci e complessi in una serie di settori che vanno dall'ospitalità all'uso misto/residenziale in vari paesi tra cui Emirati Arabi Uniti, Arabia Saudita, Stati Uniti, Singapore, Italia, Cipro e la Grecia.
Spinto dalla passione di innovare il proprio stile e offrire una visione eccezionale della sua interpretazione dell'architettura, Dimitsas fa dei progetti con il più alto livello di originilalità e raffinatezza in tutto il mondo, soddisfacendo e superando sempre le aspettative dei suoi clienti.
Il lavoro di Giorgio ha ottenuto molti riconoscimenti tra le comunità del design negli Emirati Arabi Uniti, in Grecia e in Italia. Il suo background multidisciplinare ha influenzato il suo approccio al suo lavoro architettonico, che ha cercato di promuovere il concept design architettonico come passo fondamentale alla base di tutta la sua architettura. Nella sua recente ricerca e lavoro, mira a promuovere un concetto di sviluppo dell'architettura verde per il Medio Oriente e l'Europa che produca conoscenza architettonica sostenibile.
Giorgio ha recentemente completato un programma di formazione esecutiva per AIA Architects incentrato sulla storia e la critica dell'architettura con una comprensione approfondita degli obiettivi funzionali ed estetici dell'architettura, Harvard University, Massachusetts, USA.
Il lavoro di GiorgioGiorgio è influenzato dalla sua conoscenza del design internazionale e dimostra l'impegno a riesaminare l'architettura da una prospettiva più creativa. Come parte del suo approccio progettuale, guarda in particolare ai progetti di pianificazione generale da un punto di vista concettuale, con conseguente sviluppo del progetto che consiste in un esame approfondito delle dinamiche del design. Nel corso del suo lavoro, Giorgio esplora le condizioni uniche di ogni progetto che possono essere migliorati, incarnati ed estesi attraverso l'architettura verso futuri più sostenibili.
PROCESSO DI PROGETTAZIONE
Giorgio considera l'architettura come il linguaggio che parla del luogo ... Il processo di progettazione è guidato dall'idea di impiegare una tavolozza di materiali minimalista ispirata al contesto locale di ogni progetto, al clima e all'ambiente naturale determinati dal modello dello stile di vita e dei gusti del cliente.
Questa è la ricetta con cui egli crea architetture senza tempo, ma dalla forte identità e con un carattere del tutto personale.

L'abilità di progettazione concettuale di Giorgio è il suo punto forte con l'utilizzo di schizzi a mano, ausili visivi come realtà virtuale in 3D, immagini fisse e video, fotomontaggi, rendering ad alta definizione, video fly-through e fly-over.
Giorgio progetta case moderne e contemporanee nella loro essenzialità, ispirate all'ambiente naturale di ogni territorio, utilizza materiali umili e valorizza le forme circostanti dell'edificio (se presenti) attraverso l'impiego intelligente di un'estetica moderna.
